Telehealth therapy offers a flexible, accessible way to receive support from the comfort and privacy of your own space. I provide online therapy sessions for adult clients physically located in MarylandWashington DC, or Missouri at the time of their session. Due to state licensure laws, you must be physically in one of these states during your appointment to participate in therapy with me.

Benefits of Telehealth Therapy:

Ease of access: Participate in therapy from the comfort of your own space.

Fits into a busy day: Telehealth offers flexibility, allowing you to schedule sessions without the need for travel.

Early morning availability: Take advantage of my early morning sessions at 7am and 8am EST to fit therapy into your routine before your day gets busy.

Simple, secure platform: Sessions are conducted via the telehealth platform SimplePractice, which is HIPAA-compliant to ensure your privacy and confidentiality.

Convenient access: A link to access each session will be sent before your appointment. You can join the session from a phone or computer, in a safe, private space of your choosing.

Ideal for high achievers and neurodivergent adults: Telehealth therapy supports those balancing full schedules, managing overstimulation, or seeking a calming, familiar environment for therapy.

Tips for Utilizing Telehealth Effectively:

1. Choose a quiet, private space: Ensure you are in a quiet, distraction-free environment where you can speak openly and focus during your session. Privacy is key to maintaining confidentiality and comfort.

2. Use headphones for extra privacy or focus: If you need additional privacy or tend to get easily distracted, headphones can help create a more focused and secure experience.

3. Avoid using your cell phone unless you have a stand: If you’re using a phone, make sure it’s on a stand to keep it steady. Holding the phone can make it difficult for both you and the therapist to focus, especially if we incorporate art therapy.

4. Ensure a strong internet connection: A reliable, stable internet connection is essential for a smooth session. Avoid using mobile data if possible, as it can be less stable than a good Wi-Fi connection.
