SHELF DISCOVERY

An Art Therapy-Inspired Book Club

This isn’t your average book club.

Over six sessions, we’ll combine creative expression with guided reflection as we explore key themes from Adult Children of Emotionally Immature Parents by Lindsay Gibson. Each session includes an art therapy directive, space for discussion, and connection with others who truly get it.

Participants will read approximately two chapters between sessions to support deeper insight and conversation. You don’t need to be “artistic” or finish the book to participate—just come with curiosity and a willingness to engage.

Whether you join for one session or the full series, this group offers space to process childhood dynamics, reconnect with your inner voice, and begin healing in a supportive, nonjudgmental environment.
